I spent $40 on a 'Firefly' box set to show support and it felt like a total waste

After the show got canceled, I bought the complete series on Blu-ray for about forty bucks. I figured if enough people bought it, maybe the network would notice and bring it back. That was over five years ago and nothing happened. The money just went into a void. Has anyone else bought merch for a dead show hoping it would make a difference?

Feel the pain, I bought three copies of the same canceled show just to hit different sales charts. My shelf looks like a memorial for bad choices. At this point, I'm pretty sure the only thing my cash revived was some studio exec's golf game.

Lol, been there @michaelk23. Sometimes you just gotta try the old trick again to be sure it's really broken. Saves you from overthinking a new fix.
