I miss the fandom community around Freaks and Geeks more than the show itself

I rewatched Freaks and Geeks last month and got hit with a wave of nostalgia, but not just for the show itself. Back in 1999 when it was airing, me and like 3 other people on a dial up forum would swap theories and share bootleg VHS copies we taped off the UPN affiliate in Cleveland. Now everyone talks about it as this lost classic but back then it was just a show nobody watched. I remember staying up till 2am typing out why the Millie episode was the best one. Theres no real community for that anymore, just tweets that disappear in 10 minutes. Does anyone else feel like the way we experience canceled shows has totally changed? I'd love to see a revival but more because I want that old forum feel back.

Start a dedicated Discord server, my old forum posts are still up on archive.org.

Set up a small dedicated site with a simple forum. Worked for me.
