Hot take: I saw a fanmade Firefly season 2 poster taped up in a diner in Reno and it got me mad all over again
Stopped at a little diner off Virginia Street in Reno a few days ago, grabbing coffee before a drop, and there was this handmade poster taped by the register. Fan art of the Serenity crew, drawn with marker, with "Season 2" written across the top and a date that never happened. The waitress said her kid made it and she's kept it up for close to two years now. I asked her about it and she goes, "He's still waiting. I tell him it's not coming back, but he says somebody will pick it up eventually." I sat there with my coffee thinking about how Firefly got 14 episodes and we're still having this same argument a full generation later. That show had so much left in the tank, and the movie wrapped it up in a way that felt like an apology more than an ending. So here's my real question: if you could force exactly one network to do it, which canceled show actually deserves the reboot, and which one should stay dead so it doesn't get ruined?
