Debate: Are one-season shows more likely to get revived than shows with multiple seasons?

Last month I saw that "Freaks and Geeks" got a new vinyl release and people started buzzing about a revival again. But shows with 4 or 5 seasons like "The Society" just disappear completely - has anyone else noticed this pattern?

People get way too hyped over a vinyl release honestly.

Realized I was wrong about that, the cult following really does seem to matter more.
