Can we talk about how "The OA" deserves a proper ending?

I started rewatching The OA last month and got all the way through both seasons before realizing it just stops. No resolution, no nothing. That took me like 3 weeks to get over because I kept thinking about the cliffhanger. Has anyone else been left hanging by a canceled show that had a real story to tell?
