Calling Lodge 49 done was a straight up crime

I finished rewatching Lodge 49 last week and it still gets me mad how they ended that show after two seasons. The whole thing about Dud finding the Lynx and that alchemical mystery with the lodge just got going and then AMC pulled the plug. They left like five story threads dangling including that guy Ernie and the whole sovereign corporation scheme. Anyone else still hoping someone picks this up on Netflix or something?

Building a fire and pouring water on it, that's exactly what they did. I'm still bitter about it, especially since I just finished rewatching too and realized how much I must've blocked out the pain of that cliffhanger. Maybe if I leave a few pennies on the tracks, a streaming service will find them and pick up the show. You think there's any chance Hulu or someone might come back for it?

Double down on building that fire and pouring water on it lmao, like AMC really looked at all those alchemical symbols and thought "nah let's just leave this gold elixir half cooked." Ernie and the sovereign corp stuff was literally the whole point of season 2 and they just dropped it like a hot penny. I'm still mad about the ocean front property plot too, that felt like it was building to something huge. Netflix would be the dream but they already passed on it once so who knows, maybe we gotta start our own lodge and crowdfund a season 3 ourselves lol.
