Warning: Early 2000s comedy specials would get everyone cancelled today. It's wild how fast the rules changed.

Forgot how back then jokes just disappeared into the air. Now everything's recorded and searched forever, that's what really changed the game.

Good jokes are actually worth keeping around instead of just vanishing.

Seriously! It makes comedians pull their punches now. Saw a clip last week of some comic getting ripped for a tweet from 2011. You can't workshop risky stuff anymore without fearing it'll pop up years later to bite you. The whole vibe is just more careful and less fun.
