The quote that made me rethink public callouts
My sister got cancelled for a bad take in 2019, and during the whole mess someone on Reddit said 'you're not owed forgiveness, just a chance to explain.' That hit me because I used to think apologies alone should end things, but now I see the system's broken when the mob picks the punishment before the facts. Has anyone else had a criticism change how they judge these situations, or am I just overthinking it?

Wait, did your sister ever get a real chance to explain her side?
