One reply that made me rethink a whole cancellation thread
Was reading a thread about a YouTuber with 2 million subs getting called out for old tweets. Hundreds of people piling on. Then one user posted, "I met her at a convention in Chicago in 2019, she helped my kid find a lost badge for 20 minutes." That was it. Just one small thing. But it split the whole comment section into two camps. Has anyone else had one random personal story completely shift how you saw a cancellation?

Totally agree, this kind of thing sticks with you. I once saw a whole pile-on for a small streamer over some dumb joke, and then a guy in the comments said the streamer drove 40 minutes to bring him a lost wallet at a gas station. Just that one post made everyone stop and actually think for a second. It didn't excuse anything, but it reminded me these are real people with real days, not just bad tweets on a screen.
