Honestly, I got 500 signatures on a petition to get a local news anchor fired for an old tweet. It worked, and now I feel weird about it.

Yeah that weird feeling is totally a sign! I had the same thing happen after I helped get a teacher moved to another school over some dumb facebook posts from like 2010. Felt awful after, like @sarah531 said, you just gotta learn from it.

Man that whole "old posts coming back" thing is wild. My cousin almost lost a job offer because of some edgy meme he shared in a group chat back in high school. The hiring manager found it and brought it up in the final interview. He had to basically beg for another chance.
