Why does nobody call out those expensive camp stoves that die in wind?
I read a thread last week where someone praised a $180 stove for boiling water fast, but nobody mentioned how it flames out if a breeze hits it. I took mine to a site near Flagstaff and had to build a rock wall just to cook dinner. My old $40 two-burner from a garage sale handled gusts fine. Has anyone else found that paying more for weight savings just buys you a fragile toy?

Man, did you check the wind rating or just the weight before you bought it?
