That guy at the campsite told me my tent stakes were garbage

Last summer at Shenandoah someone pointed out my cheap aluminum stakes were bending on every other rock. I switched to MSR Groundhogs after that and man, they hold way better even in that packed clay near the fire pit. Anyone else find a stake that actually stays put in windy weather?

So those Groundhogs bent at all on you in rocky soil?

Wait, you've had Groundhogs bend on you? I've put mine through pure hell in the Rockies and they're still straight as arrows. Were you trying to hammer them into solid granite or something?
