That whole "brutal cold night" thing sounds a little much, honestly. I'm not sure a single cold night is worth dumping a reliable coleman for a jetboil that's basically just a fancy cup. If it was that cold, you probably would have been better off with a good coat and a thermos anyway. But hey, if you're happy with your new cup, more power to you I guess.

Man, talk about a glow up (pun totally intended, sorry not sorry). Going from a hissing, heavy coleman that takes forever to prime to a jetboil that boils water before you even get your tent stakes out is a real game changer. Hope you didn't sell the coleman for too cheap though, those old green monsters are like tanks and make a decent backup for car camping. That cold night in the sierras must have been brutal to make you switch sides like that.
