Serious question, my new sleeping pad deflated on a cold night.
Looking for a pad that won't let me down like this.

Cold nights can trick any pad (air contracts, you know), but it's not just about the temperature rating. @lopez.oscar, checking that is smart, but the pad's design matters more for steady warmth. For example, some pads use internal foam that doesn't flatten when the air inside gets cold. Others have thicker layers to block heat loss through the ground. I've seen friends shiver because their pad was too thin, even with a high rating. Pads that mix materials often handle the squeeze from dropping temps better.

Did the cold sneak up on your pad too? I've had pads act like they're allergic to chilly nights, leaving me on hard ground. It's why I double-check the temperature rating now, but I still get surprised sometimes.
