I finally figured out why my sleeping pad kept sliding at Glacier National Park
Turns out it wasn't the pad, it was the tent floor being too smooth from my old footprint, so I grabbed a $6 roll of rubber mesh shelf liner from the Walmart in Kalispell and cut it to size, has anyone else tried that or do you just deal with the sliding?

I actually read a post where a guy used that same shelf liner for his tent vestibule to keep his boots from sliding around, said it worked great. Sounds like a solid hack, way cheaper than those fancy ground sheets.

Shelf liner for a tent floor feels like overthinking it. Most people just toss a tarp down and call it done. Unless someone is doing parkour in their vestibule, boots sliding around is the least of my camping problems.
