Warning: I thought that old guy at the swap meet was just selling junk
He had a box of busted 35mm cameras in Phoenix last month and told me 'the real fix is always under the leatherette, kid'. I peeled back the covering on a Pentax K1000 and found a cracked solder joint on the battery terminal I would've missed. Has anyone else found a hidden fix like that after ignoring a simple tip?

Yeah fr, I got a similar tip from a retired contractor once. He told me to always use a dab of dish soap in the bucket when washing walls, cuts the grime way faster. Game changer for cleaning before a move out.
