Showerthought: everyone blames the shutter on an A-1 when it's really the mirror bumper foam gone sticky
Took in four Canon A-1s this month from a shop in Fresno and every single one got a CLA quote for a squeaky shutter when the real fix was $2 of foam and fifteen minutes, so stop skipping the foam check before you tell a customer their shutter is dying.
