Old CD rack became my parts organizer and it works weirdly well
Last month I was rebuilding a Pentax Spotmatic and kept losing tiny screws on my bench. I saw an old wooden CD rack at a garage sale for 3 bucks and thought why not. The slots are perfect for sorting shutter screws, springs, and levers by step number. Has anyone else repurposed house stuff like spice racks or tackle boxes for camera parts? I am curious what odd containers work for other folks.

Spice racks are the move for filter rings and adapters. Egg cartons work too if you cut the lid off.
