Used to blame poor storage, now I suspect material fatigue.

Right? I used to blame my bad luck when things broke. Now I see it's just stuff wearing out from use. My favorite mug chipped not from a drop, but from years of heat cycles. I'm starting to feel the same way myself. Material fatigue is no joke, for things or for people.
