Rant: That espresso machine descaling took me 6 hours
Finally got around to descaling my 3-group La Marzocco last Sunday. Thought it would be a quick one hour job but the boiler scale was brutal from never being done right by the previous owner. Any other cafe owners here deal with a descaling nightmare that took way longer than it should have?

10 years running my own shop I always thought descaling was overhyped until I had to chip out half a day on a scale-caked machine like yours. Changed my tune real quick after that.

Right, @anthonymurray, so descaling is basically the mechanical equivalent of a flossing lecture you ignore until your gums bleed?
