Rant: I put a $6 garage sale espresso machine on my menu and now nobody orders drip
Bought a beat up Saeco at a yard sale in Echo Park back in March just to mess around with, threw it on the counter as a joke, and now half my regulars wait 12 minutes for a shot instead of grabbing the batch brew. My drip sales dropped about 30 percent in two months and I'm standing there steaming milk at 7am like a fool. Anybody else ever accidentally turn a dumb side thing into their whole morning rush?
