Our espresso machine's pump gave out right at the start of the Saturday morning rush.

It happened last weekend. The line was out the door, and the machine just started making this awful grinding noise and then nothing. We had to turn people away for almost an hour while we got our backup machine set up. Lost about $300 in sales and a lot of good will. Has anyone else had a major equipment failure during peak hours? What's your backup plan?

Ever had one of those days where everything just goes wrong at once? I once got a flat tire in the rain, then my phone died, and I had to walk two miles to a gas station that only took cash. It felt like the universe was just piling it on for fun. Some situations just have that perfect storm vibe where you can't catch a break. Makes you wanna just laugh at how bad it gets sometimes.

What's the worst part for you, the feeling of being stuck or just the string of bad luck? Parker's story definitely had that "what next" feeling.
