Guy at the counter on Sunset told me my own menu board was driving people away
So last Thursday this guy comes in around 2pm, orders a plain latte, and just stands there staring at my menu board behind the register. He's not rude about it, just quiet. After a minute he goes, "Man, why do you make it so hard to find the drip coffee?" I look up at my own board and honestly I never noticed it before, but everything is laid out by price now because I redid it back in March. The drip is at the very bottom under all the fancy stuff, and it's the cheapest thing on there. He said he almost walked out because he thought we were one of those spots that only does $7 drinks. I moved the drip and the cold brew to the top corner the next morning and my drip sales went up like $50 a day that first week. Anyone else reorganize their board and get caught off guard by what it does to the cheap stuff?
