A regular customer pointed out our iced coffee was always watery by 3 PM.
She said she stopped buying it in the afternoons because the ice melted and diluted the brew. We started making a stronger cold brew concentrate to pour over fresh ice for each order. Has anyone else found a good way to keep iced drinks consistent all day?

Read an article a while back about a shop that kept their cold brew in a separate insulated dispenser, not sitting in an ice bath all day. They poured it over ice made from the same cold brew so it wouldn't water down at all. Your concentrate idea is smart, but maybe try brew cubes too if you want to go the extra mile. It seems like the real trick is keeping the coffee itself cold without letting regular ice touch it until the last second.

Oh man, that concentrate move is genius. We had the exact same problem with our iced tea looking sad by mid-afternoon. Switched to a super strong tea concentrate kept in the fridge and now we just add water and ice per cup. Total game changer for consistency. That brew cube idea from the other comment is next level though, might have to steal that. Keeping the actual drink away from any ice until it's served is definitely the key.

Actually, keeping the drink away from ice until serving seems like extra work for not much gain. A strong concentrate over fresh ice works perfectly fine. Those brew cubes sound cool but melting coffee ice would make the drink weaker over time too, right? Just nail your concentrate ratio and swap the ice bin often.
