Worst Tuesday ever... 3 hours to run a single drop because of a homeowner's pet situation
I got called to a house in Tacoma last week for a simple cable run. Lady had 5 cats and they kept getting under my feet while I was trying to fish line through the crawl space. One of them actually chewed through my drop line while I had it half pulled... had to start over from the spool. Anyone else deal with animals making a basic job take forever?

3 hours for one drop because of cats? That sounds more like you just didn't want to be there honestly. I've got three dogs myself and they are absolute menaces when I'm doing anything in the house but you just kind of work around them. Plus cats chewing through a line isn't really a pet situation thing unless you left it sitting there unattended for a while. Seems like you could have just shooed them away or closed a door and been done in 45 minutes tops.

Yeah, I'm with you on this one. Cats aren't exactly known for methodically chewing through tubing unless you're ignoring them for a decent stretch. Sounds a lot like someone needed a good excuse to tap out early.

lol yeah @blakem13 i had a friend who blamed his router dying on his hamster chewing through the power cord. turned out he just forgot to pay his internet bill. people love blaming their pets for stuff they messed up.
