Was dead set against those cable stapler guns until I used one on a 12-unit apartment last week
Always thought they were a waste of money and just used my hammer and staples. But my helper brought his Arrow T59 into work and let me try it on this job in the old part of town. Ran cable for 4 units in the time it normally takes me to do 2. Felt stupid but I'm buying one tomorrow. Anyone else have a tool they swore they'd never use?

Man I had the exact same experience with my first impact driver, felt like a fool for resisting for years. It's wild how fast the speed difference adds up on a big job like that.

Bought my first battery-powered ratchet wrench last year after making fun of them forever. I was the guy who said "just use a hand tool like a real mechanic." Then I had to swap out a rusty alternator in a parking lot and my buddy handed me his, whole job took 20 minutes instead of an hour. Felt like such a dinosaur. Now I keep one in my truck for emergencies and I don't even care if people laugh.
