Unpopular opinion: The old RG-6 from the 90s was tougher than what we get now

I pulled some original 1994 Belden 7915A out of a wall in an old Denver apartment last week, and it was still perfectly flexible with no jacket cracks. I tried using a modern equivalent on a cold morning job and the outer layer split near the connector after a few bends. Has anyone else found a current brand that holds up as well in the cold?

Ha, guess your new stuff just can't hack the cold.

My new stuff seems way more flexible, honestly.

Flexible enough to finally touch your toes, I see.
