My old lead told me I was wasting time pre-testing every drop, and now I'm second-guessing 6 years of routine
He told me he's seen techs get burned by bad terminations twice as often when they skip it, but I've been doing it before every single install in Denver for 6 years and never had a callback. Is pre-testing at the tap actually worth the 10 mins or am I just superstitious at this point?
Buddy of mine skipped the tap test for a year straight and got two callbacks in the same month, both bad splitters he would've caught in 30 seconds. That 10 mins is cheap insurance, keep doing it lol
