Learned the hard way about cheap grounding blocks
Bought a box of 20 grounding blocks off Amazon for $30 and half of them had bad threads right out of the package. Spent an extra 45 minutes on a job in Toledo last week fighting with one that wouldn't tighten. Anyone else had luck with a specific brand that actually holds up?

Funny how people always blame the cheap parts when the real problem is they didn't check their supplier first. I've been through a dozen different brands and the truth is most of the budget stuff is fine if you're not buying from some random Amazon seller with 2 reviews. What's the rush that you can't spend two minutes testing threads before you head out to a job? Next time grab a handful from a real electrical supply house instead of gambling on mystery boxes.

Test threads before heading out" is a good habit, but I've had brand new parts from legit supply houses fail right out of the box. Your mileage may vary, but sometimes even the pros get duds.
