Learned my lesson on crimping dies, lost $180 on a bad set
Bought a knockoff RG6 crimp die set on eBay back in March, figured it was the same thing for half the price. First 30 fittings looked fine, then two jobs in a row got signal loss callbacks because the crimp was just barely undersized. Had to buy the proper Klein set from the supply house in Dayton for $215, so the "savings" turned into a net loss plus a pissed-off customer. Anyone else get burned by off-brand termination tools that looked identical in photos?
