I finally started labeling every drop line, and the difference on my last 3 jobs in Phoenix shows
For a long time I just memorized which line went where, and it worked fine until it didn't. On a 4 unit job last month I spent close to 50 minutes tracing a line I had run myself just two days prior. After that I grabbed a roll of numbered tags and started marking both ends of every drop at the time I staple it up. On my next 3 jobs the service calls dropped to zero and each install finished about 20 minutes faster. It feels a little silly standing there writing 12 and 13 on a tag, but future me has been thanking past me every time. Does anyone tag at the box too, or just at the outlet?
