DAE have an old timer tell you to stop crimping F connectors with your teeth?
A 30 year vet in Tulsa told me that trick would bite me one day, and last Tuesday it finally chipped my molar on a stiff RG6. Now I keep a real crimper in my pouch and my dentist is $340 richer.

My buddy Dave did this for years on his satellite installs and swore the bite method was faster. One night he was up on a ladder in the rain and bit down wrong on a connector, and the wire jabbed him right in the gum. He ended up at urgent care with an infection and a swollen face for a week. His crew still gives him crap about it. Now he carries one of those little push-on crimpers on his belt and never touches a connector with his mouth again.
