The 3M hook trick for face frame alignment blew my mind last week

I was fighting a set of upper cabinets that kept drifting a hair off plumb, no matter how many times I shimmed. A guy at the Rockler in Denver showed me this trick where you stick a command hook on the face frame and use a ratchet strap to pull the cabinet into perfect alignment. It took me 2 tries to get the strap placement right, but after that it held rock solid while I drove the screws. Has anyone else used this instead of the old clamp and prayer method?
