That job at the county fair kitchen changed how I handle laminate
Last summer I was building cabinets for a fair food vendor's trailer, and the heat made the laminate bubble up so bad I had to redo three doors. Has anyone else dealt with temperature messing up their glue-ups on site?

Man, I feel your pain with that heat. I was helping a buddy wire up some lights in a food truck last August and the vinyl wrap we put on the counter started peeling off before the glue even set. We ended up having to park the whole thing in his garage overnight with a fan blasting just to get it to stick right.

That fan idea is genius, I did the same with a projector screen once and it worked perfect.

Funny how heat can mess up projects like that... I remember trying to install a rear deck on an old pickup one summer and the carpet glue just would not hold no matter what we did. Ended up weighing it down with sandbags and a couple of old brake rotors for two days before it finally took. Sometimes you just gotta get creative with what you got lying around. The fan trick sounds a lot simpler than my mess, wish I'd thought of it back then.
