Spent 6 hours fighting a warped drawer front yesterday in Portland
The thing was twisted almost a quarter inch across and no amount of clamping or shimming would fix it, so I ended up rebuilding it from scratch, anyone else ever waste a whole day on a piece that should have been tossed from the start?

Six hours on a warped drawer front? Man, that’s dedication, but maybe it’s just me, quarter inch in a drawer nobody’s gonna see is a lot of fight. Clamps and shims only do so much, sure, but tossing it after the first hour and grabbing a new board would’ve saved the day. Rebuilding from scratch sounds like you were proving a point to the wood, not fixing a problem. Hope the new one’s actually square, otherwise you’re back at it tomorrow.
