Salvaged maple made my kitchen install a breeze

Lately, I notice folks wanting wood with a history. I used some salvaged maple from a school gym floor. It was clean and stable, so fitting went smooth. The homeowner said it reminded them of their childhood. Felt good to give old wood a new life.

Absolutely, that history is half the charm. Did a table from factory floor joists once, and the nail holes just made it better. Never got a complaint, just stories.
