Rant: A client's custom walnut credenza design changed three times in one week
The final revision came in at 4:30 PM on a Friday, and I had already milled the lumber for the second version. Has anyone else had a client who just couldn't lock in a design?

Charge a non-refundable deposit before milling anything.
