Guy at the lumber yard swore I should seal cabinet interiors before assembly, and he was dead right
He told me at Beckwith Lumber in Daytona that unsealed maple interiors in a rental kitchen would soak up steam from the dishwasher and swell within a year. I blew him off for two jobs, then got a callback on the second one with doors that wouldn't sit flat and 3 cabinet boxes that had to be rebuilt at my cost. Anyone else sealing interiors before assembly, or do you wait until after?
