Finally nailed a set of 12 raised panel doors after fighting my router table all of last week
Swapped in a $30 magnesium plate and a fresh 1/2 inch upcut bit, and every panel came out dead flat with no tearout on the maple. What's your go to fix when a router table starts drifting on you?
Seems like $30 and a bit swap solved a problem people spend hundreds chasing. Not saying the magnesium plate isn't nice but a fresh sharp bit does most of that work honestly. Maple tears out on dull cutters no matter what the table is made of.
