My DeWalt 20v max drill lasted 8 years on a job site before the chuck finally gave out, so I'm sticking with them for now.

Oh man, I gotta jump in on this one! @sarah531 I think you might mean the 20v MAX system not the 20v max drill itself. DeWalt's branding is kind of confusing because the 20v MAX is the battery platform, not a specific drill model. Like my buddy had a DeWalt 20v MAX hammer drill that lasted about the same time, but the chuck went bad too. Just a little mix-up on the terminology, no big deal.
