Hit 1000 days on my language app streak

I opened it on a random Tuesday morning and saw 1000 days. Never missed a day through moves, holidays, even when I had the flu. Anybody else get weirdly attached to a streak like that?

Thought it was stupid honestly. Kept seeing people brag about their streaks and rolled my eyes every time. Then I got weirdly into duolingo during a boring summer and now I'm at like 800 days. Missed one day last year and felt genuinely bummed out about it the whole day. It's just a number on a screen but somehow it keeps me going even when I'm not in the mood to study.

That's the thing though @lunakim, it's not stupid at all when you're the one living it. 1000 days is massive, mad respect for keeping it going through all that.
