Had a cashier tell me to stop buying cheap trash bags and she was right

I was at the Target on Broadway last Tuesday buying the store brand 13-gallon kitchen bags for the third time in two months. The cashier, maybe 60 years old, looked at them and said "those rip every time, don't they?" I laughed and admitted yeah, every single bag ended up with a hole in the bottom. She pointed me to the Glad ForceFlex ones sitting right next to them, same aisle, no extra trip. I grabbed a box on my way out and honestly haven't had a blowout since. Anyone else have a random stranger save them from a bad product habit?

You said "didn't have a blowout since" but how long has it actually been? Because I swear those "upgraded" bags last about a month before they start springing leaks too, just a bit slower than the cheap ones. What's your real metric for knowing these are better, a week, a month, or a full trash can cycle?

Yeah I just switched to the black contractor bags and my cat immediately started ignoring the litter box.

My metric is it hasn't exploded on me yet, so I'm calling it a win.
