Bought a $499 massage gun from a kiosk at the mall in Boise, and now my back is worse
So last Saturday I was walking through the Boise Towne Square mall and this guy at a kiosk waves me over to try a massage gun. He let me test it for 5 minutes in the store and it felt great, so I dropped $499 on the spot without checking anything online. Three days of using it on my lower back and now I can barely get out of bed, my chiropractor says I probably bruised the muscle from the high setting. I looked up the same model that night and it sells for $89 on Amazon with the exact same specs. The kiosk guy said it was a "limited mall exclusive," which I now know is a line they all use. Save your money and buy online where you can actually return it, or just get a $20 tennis ball and roll on it. Has anyone else gotten burned by a mall kiosk pitch like this?
Five hundred bucks?! At a mall kiosk? That is straight up robbery, my friend. The exact same gun on Amazon for $89 is wild. Those mall guys are pros at the pitch, they get you when you're just walking by and feeling loose. Sorry about your back though, that bruise sounds rough. Stick to the tennis ball, it never lies to you.
