Tried a new deboning trick from a YouTube video and it went terrible
Tried that method where you follow the bone with the tip instead of the flat of the blade on a pork shoulder last Friday, and I ended up with shredded meat and a cut on my thumb. Anybody else had a tutorial backfire this bad?

And the worst part is my cat kept trying to lick the blood off my thumb while I was still holding the knife lol. I swear I watched the video three times and thought I had it down, then ended up with the blade skipping right off the bone and straight into a chunk of my own finger. The pork was still tough in the middle too, so I just threw the whole thing in a slow cooker and called it pulled pork.
