Hot take: I used to trim brisket fat with a boning knife until a customer in Omaha asked if I was sculpting modern art.

Now I just use a standard breaking knife because it's faster and honestly, that comment about my 'art' made me realize I was overthinking a simple task, anyone else have a tool they switched from for a silly reason?

But the art is the whole point.

Remember buying albums for the liner notes and art. The music mattered most, but that extra layer made the whole thing feel special. Sometimes the wrapper is part of the treat.

Well, not always. Sometimes the art is just the wrapper. Like a concert t-shirt. The point is you were there, you have the memory. The shirt is just proof. Or a book cover. You buy it for the story inside. The cover just has to not be ugly.
