Can we talk about how some band saws dull faster than others?

I've been using the same blade on my Hobart for 5 years, thought they all lasted that long... then I helped a buddy with his new model and it went dull in 3 months flat. Checked the blade tension and alignment, turns out the factory setup was way off. Has anyone else run into this with newer machines?

My buddy's uncle had a Delta that went through blades like crazy until he noticed the motor pulley was wobbling. Took him forever to find it because the vibration felt normal. Never would have thought to check that myself.

That's a sneaky one @morgan_ramirez, bet a lot of folks just blame the blade quality instead of looking at the arbor or pulley. Idk why but those little vibrations that seem normal are always the worst to track down.
