My IT guy in Boise told me to stop bundling internet and phone from the same provider, and I think he might be right
Last Thursday I grabbed coffee with the guy who set up our network back in Boise, and he asked why we were still paying $340 a month for a bundle that barely holds up when two people are on video calls. He said separating our phone service from our internet would let us switch providers on one side without getting stuck on the other. I always figured bundling saved us money, but when I actually added it up, we were paying about $60 more than two standalone plans would cost. He also pointed out that when our internet went out last month, our phones died with it for almost 4 hours. Now I'm second guessing the whole setup for our 12 person office. Anyone here run phone and internet through different companies, and did it actually save you anything?
