I stuck a $2 magnet on my bumper and people finally stopped tailgating me
For two months I kept getting people riding my bumper on I-35 outside Waco, and the usual advice about slowing down or tapping brakes just made it worse. So I tried something cheap instead. I bought a little yellow magnet that says Student Driver and stuck it on the back of my truck. In three weeks of driving, the tailgating dropped off a lot and people actually give me room to merge now. It feels a bit dishonest since I have been driving for 18 years, but does anyone think this trick wears off if you leave it on too long?
