That Japanese fountain pen set I bought for $87 was a complete flop

The ink bled through every page of my Leuchtturm, smudged within an hour, and now I'm stuck with a pretty case full of useless pens has anyone else bought into hype like this?

Did you try a different type of paper or is it just the ink that's the problem? Sometimes cheap ink can make even expensive pens feel worthless.

Gotta admit @rileynelson I used to think paper didn't matter that much but you're totally right lol. Cheap ink really does ruin the whole feel of a nice pen.
