Switched from a full weekly spread to just a daily log for my work tasks
I used to draw out a whole weekly page every Sunday, but last month I just made a simple daily list each morning. The weekly one took about 20 minutes to set up and I'd forget stuff by Tuesday. The daily log takes 5 minutes and I actually finish more because it's right in front of me. Has anyone else dropped their weekly setup and just gone day-by-day?

Oh wow, my friend did exactly that! She had this beautiful weekly planner with colors and stickers. Honestly, she spent more time decorating it than using it. She switched to a cheap notepad and just writes three big things to do each day. She said she stopped missing deadlines because the list is so simple and right there. It totally changed her work week.

Yeah, a productivity blog said the same thing last week.

Exactly, it's so easy to get caught up in making the system perfect instead of just doing the work. I had a fancy app with all the bells and whistles, and I'd spend twenty minutes just sorting tasks into folders. Now I use a plain text file on my computer, just a running list. Crossing things off feels great, and I actually get more done because I'm not managing the tool.
